As the matter of fact that we cannot live without light, the role of lighting gain more important to consumer, products and so on. Therefore,to promote its professional lighting products, Philips Thailand arranges a campaign called "City.People.Light", which will encourage business operators and municipal authorities to consider the importance of lighting as part of people's daily lives.

 

Philips Thailand will make proposals to local authorities in selected provinces about proper and efficient lighting for local attractions, roads and sport stadiums. Dr. Acharawan Chutarat, the head of Lighting Design track from SOA+D, KMUTT, is invited to be the key speaker as the specialist in light designing.

The aim of this seminar is to promote and emphasize on the use of light innovation in decoration the city of tourism which divided into four provinces: Bangkok, Pattaya, Nakornrajshasima and Phuket. About 50-80 people are expected to attend this campaign.

 

This year's lighting strategy will focus on providing people-centric and end user-driven lighting solutions starting with a campaign called "City.People.Light" aimed at linking city and community with people and lifestyle.Under the City.People.Light campaign, Philips will propose to local authorities of particular provinces proper and more efficient lighting solutions to decorate city attractions, roads and sport stadiums.

 

First Seminar: March 22, 2010 at Phuket

Second Seminar: May 20, 2010 at Bangkok

Third Seminar: June 11, 2010 at Pattaya

Fourth Seminar: July 9, 2010 at Korat (Nakornrajshasima)
