This program focuses on management of urban resources, urban infrastructure, and the social and human capital that make up the richness of a city. It offers a curriculum that overarches research, planning and practice and situates this approach in an interdisciplinary context and an international environment with explicit attention for context-specific urbanism.
Its conceptual focus is on Southeast Asian experiences of Urban Culture; its particular emphasis on the development of methodological tools and techniques that enhance wider participation. It is our belief that better communication between academics, decision-makers, practitioners, and other stakeholders benefits the urban development process and makes it more sustainable.
